2009 is nearly done and over with! Holding on to every last minute as much as I can (not really... but it sounds better this way). 2010 everybody! Really... can't wait for 2012.

I know I know. It's nearly New Year's and here I am posting Christmas photos. My computer has been fixed but it's not yet up and running. (Good news: my files are not lost!) I've been too lazy to get my pictures into the labtop because this ol' thing takes FOREVER to do... anything. It's almost midnight, and I have insomnia so this is currently what I'm doing...
Well of course, it was Christmas. NOTHING was open except for the movies, a few coffe shops, and one accessories store. As my friend and I was trailing along, I couldn't help but notice: Wow! There's a lot of sales! And nothing was open.
Let me tell you, I was almost about to smash a window or something. I haven't actually done any legit shopping for myself in about 5 months. (Forever 21 (only shop decent for my budget) has been closed down for 3 and 1/2 months; it reopened in December and the day I come, it's closed.)
I mean of course, I should've known better to go to the mall on Christmas day. But my mom and my sis gone for the holidays and my dad who prefers home as his playground, I wasn't expecting much of a Christmas. Pop isn't much of a present guy either...
But as we walked around we couldn't help but notice the beautiful sculptures and water-squirting things there... things we DON'T usually notice when we bustling along shopping. It was actually quite nice and we felt quite fortunate to have such lovely places available to us. And ain't that what Christmas is all about?
P.S. I really like the first photo b.t.w. My friend caught the photo of me legitally smiling. Not a forced one or a pout... but an actual "the-water-is-fun" smile. Pure bliss.

I officially believe that technology hates me. All forms. My phone likes to screw me (and not the satisfactory way), my computer likes to kick me where it really pains, and television... will let's just say two of my favorite channels just magically disappeared off the screen. It's like I have the "King Midas" touch. Only everything that I touch turn to @#$#.
Reason for my pissy mood today? My computer crashed... for the umpteenth time. So now I'm using my lousy laptop. And I just recieved news from good ol' pops that all my files are lost from the backup disk. GREAT WAY TO START UP THE NEW YEAR.

On a happier note, I saw Sherlock Holmes on Christmas day! My friend and I went to the mall in hopes that at least some shops were open. Nope! (Remember that I have sh--iest luck ever wished upon anybody.) Thankfully, we went to buy our tickets early. Well, we arrived at the mall at 10 in the morning... there really was nothing to do for 5 more hours. I think this is my first time watching a movie on opening day. It really was quite exciting. It probably was my friend's luck and not mine, because once we exited out of the movie (which was AWESOME by the way, Robert Downey Jr. is gorgeous for a man whatever age he's in) there was a line that stretched from the entrance back to the entrance again just to watch Robert Downey Jr.'s six-pack abs.

P.S. Robert Downey Jr. deserves an Academy, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, or something for his amazing portrayal of the most famous detective in history. And he and Jude Law should win some award for the Best Chemistry. The funny quips between the two is worth the (effing) $7.50 movie ticket.

A few days back I painted this portrait for the lovely Zanita. I emailed her this to her right afterwards. I said that I won't post it until she replied. However, because it has been more than 3 days, I've decided to post this instead, in hopes that she'll see it here.

P.S. There has been a bit of sabotage by a certain someone. I'll leave it there and let you guys find where.

P.P.S. By the way, this is done by watercolor. Not terribly well-done, but I only started drawing 5 months ago.

Went Caroling for all the wonderful grandmas and grandpas yesterday. (Not in this outift though... my god no!)
However, not a good idea to go out and be attracted to all the diseases and sniffles and not expect to get all the diseases and sniffles the day after.

Aren't the jellyfish beautiful? So graceful, yet so deadly. I think the ray is now one of my most favorite sea-animal. On the outside, they’re quite simple-looking, but the way they move is quite majestic.
P.S. This is still at Legoland, but the reason for the outfit change is because of the amazingly small, but well-constructed water park. In other words, I got wet.
