White Dress Shirt (Mr. Witt), Cut-off Denim Shorts (Gap), Cross Necklace and Ring (Bakers), Studded Belt (secondhand)

A bit of a throw-on outfit today. I never have time to take photos these days, so when my dad needed to make a quick shortstop to the closest Asian store, I was relieved that I had brought my camera for once.

1. Went to the Mission Viejo Mall today for the spring show (extra credit for class). Was pleasently surprised to see model Laurel from ItsHerFactory. (Extremely lucky because we were 45 minutes late... she was the last one to model and was the only one we saw) Was hoping to bump into her to tell how amazing she is and ask her why in-mother's-name did she go on a blogging hiatus.

2. Little sis threw up in the car. I am in charge of washing the car sheets. :)

3. Need to stop procrastinating on my denim project. I am asked to design/make/alterate jeans for my fashion class. Was going to stop at the cloth store, but after my sister's sudden fever came on, decided it is for the best to go tomorrow. Need to buy lace and leather.

4. Got this shirt at the thrift store I'm volunteering at for $1.

5. The latest editorials for W magazine (with Kirsten Dunst) is just lovely.

P.S. Am I the only one who is still not impressed by the clog sensation (even after the lovely Rumi displayed them on her blog?)... I still find them the ugliest shoes on earth... right after the despiteful Uggs.

P.P.S. I despise the McAfee my mom made my dad install. It does absoutely crap. I love how it blocks a black-and-white photo of me with my back turned, but it doesn't bother to block the topless Anja Rubik editorial I posted.

McQueen shows that quality is so much greater than quantity. His last/fall collection is minimal in size, but with the most extravagent underpinnings. Again, McQueen stays true to his name as he conquers elegancy with fierceness.

P.S. And the shoes are joygastic.

Jesus, the Oscars are long. I have never watched the entire show before, (Well, I missed everything after the Best Actor speech) from the red carpet to nearly the end. I was not impressed at all by the dresses this year. Ruffles are nice...when done elegantly. The overwhelming amount of ruffles this year made me want to barf out glitter and Barbie. And I don't think I have ever seen so many black tuxedos in my life. Holy cow. I always thought bowties were adorable, but after seeing 40 of the same versions from different designers, I fear for men's originality. My favorite outfit would have to be Robert Downey Jr.'s suit. His blue bowtie stood out above a sea of black. He's probably the only man alive who can pull off shady sunglasses, a strange coif, and sneakers on the red carpet. His wife is a lucky woman.

Now I want to move to San Juan Capistrano. There is a splendid little petting zoo there with the most awesome animals. (There are rabbits and guinea pigs for the weak-hearted). I was most attracted to the pig. I felt extremely bad because everyone was rushing to observe the exotic birds, cuddle the bunnies and guinea pigs, and ride the horses. The pig's stall was empty with people; no one wanted to be amazed by his snorting, friendly beauty. His nose couldn't fit through the squard wires, but I was pretty doggone sure he was going to give me a nose kiss.

Humans, be aware of the great pig.
