UURGGH. I never would've thought I would be a shoe whore. Some time ago, I never understand girl's obsession with shoes; for me, I needed one shoe-stopper and that was it. I would wear it until you could see the skin on the balls of my feet. Then came along Ebay, and blogging, and college parties--where heels are pretty mandatory when heads are bouncing above you because you're 5 inches shorter than everyone else (but then you dance on the bar, and all is better (not an euphemism)). Now, I just spent money that I should have saved for next semester. FUCK ME. Urgh, I told myself I needed one boot wedge and one sandal.
Anyways, I just bought my first pair of "designer" shoes. Retail price is $209.95 (on sale for Shoestruck for $139.95); I bought them for $32.95 (including tax). I guess that's a win, but I can feel my mom's glare drilling my back.
