Trinkets in Sexchines.

First 2 photos are little jewerly that I made. A few days after that crappy photo was taken, I made 3 more rings. A cross, a silver leaf, and a gold spider. When it comes to jewelry, I'm not that obssessed. Sometimes it's practicality and my obvious clumsiness. I don't know, maybe it's my fear of dropping these metal things down the toilet. Losing them a week after buying them is inevitable. Also, I never find any that I like. And the ones I do like cost major bucks.
All my weaknesses clumped together has propelled me to make my own little "trinkets". Cue the super glue on skin, floor, carpet, etc. and some major pain along the way. Nevertheless, I am much more proud of crap I make myself. I would've boasted my 3 little new babies but until I get a camera, I can't. With my ancient piece of machinery, all photos that come out are blurry and incomprehensible.

The last few photos are outdated from Knott's for my 17th birthday. I was in debate to actually show photos of my crazy friends who made that day happen, but then again their privacy is also very important to me. Instead, here's a vision of a ride that I didn't have the balls to go on, roosters and hens that surprised us at the end of the days (and can amazingly climb trees), my face that summed up what I felt about the whole day, and a perfectly-screwed-up photobooth picture (I was devirginized of never being in a photobooth. They say that your first experience sucks, but I didn't think it could've been better. Especially loving the last photo of me supposedly giving my friend a hickey, who by the way was 1 of the FOUR girls that was in the booth. Hilariously, her face was the only one that came out and the only person that you can see in all 4 slides.)

P.S. I'm promising to put up some actual outfit posts soon. Just did my SAT Subject tests this morning so I'm finally semi-free.

DIY White Tank, DIY Shorts (Wetseal), Brown Vest, White Chucks
Simple Simple Simple. Bored Bored Bored.
Sorry of the lack of posts recently. I've actually been more busy now then I've been during the school year. It's crazy.

Monkey See, Monkey Do, Monkey wants to be just like you.

Blue/Green Indian Tee (vintage), Blue Jean Skirt (made by mom), White Sneakers (Cherokee)
My mom's handiwork is amazing. I found these old 90's jeans that don't fit me anymore (and when I say 90's I mean those smal-waisted, straight-legged, deathly unflattering, acid-washed 90's jeans). I had the idea of cutting and making them into a skirt. So my mom made a two-toned jeans skirt out of two pairs of jeans. Utter Fabulousness.
P.S. I'm going shoe-shopping today. Mother thinks these white zip-up sneakers are too dirty and worndown (you should see the heels...)... today may be my last day with these white ol' goodies... *tear*.
P.P.S. The monkey was my pet for the day. I don't think I can get more random than this.

Picnic Dress (made by mom), Brown Belt, White Heels (vintage), Leather Satchel (vintage)
This dress used to be droopy and long... glad I grew into it. I adore this!
P.S. Crazy Cali weather. The day before it was freezing cold. That day (pics taken) was blazing hot. Now it's back to being freezing cold again.

I rode elephants not ponies.

Fake-fur coat (made my mom), Paisley-print dress (vintage), silver belt (sis), dark brown combat boots (Mudd), cable-knit ankle socks

The dress goes down to my ankles, so I shortened it by tucking it into the silver belt. I also added some creases on the top of the dress by clipping with a (bow) clip.
P.S. The unicorn sings when you hit him on the head (or squeeze his nose)!

Some time ago.

Plaid Vest (made by mom), Black Knit Dress (Zutopia), Yellow Gold Belt

Black Asymmetrical Zipper Jacket (Charlotte Russe), Grey Jumper (made by mom), Vintage Tights

Vintage Tights

Grey Jumper (made by mom), Blue Belt w/ Studs (Kohl's)

White Knit Jacket, Grey Jumper (made by mom), Blue Belt

My mom is brilliant at making fab basics. The grey jumper is completely designed, cut, sewn, tailored by her. I gave her the idea and ta-da! It has a pocket in the middle and kinda like a big tank.

The plaid vest was cut out of a plaid dress. It was too small for me, so we decided to either make it into a skirt or a vest. Mom told me it wouldn't look good as a skirt, so we made it into a vest.

P.S. These are a couple weeks old pics; kinda forgot about them.

On an impulse.

Plaid jacket (Wetseal Collection $7), White "Oh Snap Tee" (Wetseal $3), DIY Bleached Light Blue Jeans (Forever 21), Black strappy heels (Sonoma), DIY Yellow Camera necklace
Had to "ruin" something that day. "Ruined" my light blue jeans. They were getting a bit too boring.
Got mixed reviews when I worn them at school. What was interesting though was that the guys commented on them the most. One told me he "loved" my jeans, and another told me that it looked like I ji--ed all over them. Great...
P.S. My camera-necklace is one of those clicky/slideshow necklace. You know... you click on this button and when you look inside it there's pictures?
You can see marine animals in it. (There's alot of debate whether this one animal is an ocra or a whale. I think he/she looks like Shamu.)

No bleach? No pants.

DIY bleached jean jacket (thrifted), grey t-shirt (Wetseal)
My mom has this wonderful, old jean jacket. A simple, but necessary item. She now uses it for "painting". Yep, the jean jacket is now splattered with white paint. Makes me want it even more. She said it was now "too dirty" for me to wear (even when I tried to tell her that I didn't care).
So I tried to wash it, and when that barely worked out.... I bleached the jacket.

Mom got kinda pissed off... but hopefully she'll get over it... and let me wear the now DIY bleached, jean jacket.

P.S. Don't ask me how I got the pictures though...

Sometimes you gotta try.

Black Tank (Hot Topic), Brown Belt (sis's), Floral Shirt--worn as skirt (H&M)
Call me desperate... I've been dying to get ahold of a floral skirt... (which is completely my fault... b/c once I saw this lovely floral, tiered skirt... but I was like"nahh... I don't need this." Sometimes I could just shoot myself.)
Anyhoo... I wore this shirt a few days back. I love the print but ever since I bought it I always wished it was a minidress or a skirt. So I decided to improvise. I tucked in the sleeves and cinched it with the belt. Alot of people at school said they liked it... but I guess the idea may sound ridiculous to some.
That also brings me to somethings that it's off-topic yet not that off-topic...
I saw this shirt too many times for my taste on other people. (I got it on a sale for $5. I don't know if they did too?...) So I kinda stopped wearing it for awhile...
Jeez. I need a life.
P.S. Don't ask me how I fit into my little sister's clothes sometimes. I just do. And I'm not even skinny. And my sister is no where from fat.
Gosh. I really need to stop saying things when I don't need to.

Dye hard.

Way too happy.
Stepping up.
Even if you can barely see my outfit... I love love this one.
Dye sexy.

Black cardigan (Laundry), white tank (Wetseal), DIY bleached leggings (Kohl's), black boots (Carol's Fashion)
Yep, dyed them. Didn't exactly turn out the way or color I wanted them to be... but ooh well...
Hey! Who knows how to make grey into a lighter grey? Raise your hands!
I have alot to turn learn in DIY.

I need tum-tums.

Gray Shirt (Banana Republic--ripped by me), black leggings (Wetseal warehouse), black leather boots (mom's), beige vest (mom's)

Ever since I got home from school, I've been getting these wierd stomachaches. I don't think I've eaten anything too-bad-for-you. (although I did eat some chocolate cheesecake (mm-mm good)). It's wierd, I get stomach-aches, acid reflexes, vomiting feelings... but can never throw-up.... hmmm...

Can put my hair in a ponytail now! It's only one inches long though...

Oh, used childhoodflames method of ripping stuff. She's a prodigal of DIY. I would love to meet her one day--she's utterly adorable, talently fashionable, and seems so freakin' nice!

Paint me pretty.

Tan Button-down shirt (French Laundry), white painted (by me) polo shirt (Abercrombie & Fitch), black suede skirt (vintage)

The three brands that I will never wear is Hollister, American Eagle, and A&F. I personally think their clothes are expensive... and boring. This shirt was given to me by a friend. It's too small, and I accidentally got a hole in it. I hate throwing ANYTHING away, so I decided to innovate. (Is that the right word?)

I had bottles of paint (green, yellow, and blue specifically) and a blank canvas. It turned out all right, the people at school loved it. My mom (as usual) hated it; she gave me this dirty look and was like "So is this your design? You think this is cool?"

What parents do! There to boost your confidence.

P.S. Since my sister takes my pics, she just had to give me Fred the Bear to take a picture with. I have to say, Fred is a natural.
