4 cities in 4 days. So for Christmas, we roamed around Nevada, Grand Canyon, and Arizona. Be prepared for a vast load of photos to come... in of course, no particular order. Knowing me, I will probably always ward off things till the last moment. By the time, I'm done uploading everything, it'll be 2011 already. (Note to self: finish reading Much Ado About Nothing) Grand Canyon was one of the last places we visited, so I have no idea why I'm putting these first.

I wish I was, but I am not, a naturey kind of person. I enjoy hikes and all that, but I don't get the same exact ecstacticness as I would get whenever I'm in a city or a town. Grand Canyon, I do have to admit was pretty breathtaking. Props to my little sister for "making" me chase her to all the way to the top. I also adored the Native American culture . The rugged cowboys are very charming and very polite. I need more of those around Cali.

Like Peaches and Snow.

As much as I love color, I always fall back to neutral. So gentle and versatile. Although I have to say, these pieces don't exactly fit into the cold and rainy (or snowy if that's what December is like for you or sunny if you happen to live down under) of winter, they easily caught my eye. (And also, some of them I had saved in my computer for months, but never found the effort to make a collage. :D)

After living past possibly one of the worst weeks of my life (imagine anything bad that can possibly happened, happened), I'm promising to give myself a good one next week. Finally on winter break. Not everything went directly as planned, so I can imagine myself making amends and making the best of it. Yesterday has been raining all morning, so hopefully I'll see a rainbow today. Down with a cold. Karma for going out last night while it was tinkling outside.

I'm possibly the only Asian that I know with that many freckles. I'm thankful for my good skin genes, but I definitely take it for granted. The way I treat my skin is equal to absolutely shit. 17 years of sun damage, and this is what happens. For me, the picture is too personal. I can't look at it without going, that's disgusting. I had to though in order to show off my rather simple DIY project that I did a month ago. Just never had the energy to put it up.

I don't know what to make of this week. My grades have been in the dumps, and I've just found a reason to bring them back up. I can't wait for next week to come in order for Winter Break to come, and yet, all these midterms and tests are death to the ears. I've just started to gain some self-happiness due to a certain someone, and yet, from the looks of it, I'd probably never see ma beast. (I hope he never reads this, cause (he and) I have too big of an ego to ever admit that I miss his face.) Being told that I should continue acting like the good little Asian for the next week sucks; so much to look forward leads to both yay and nay feelings.

Happy Late Thanksgiving everyone! I feel terrible for saying that on the wrong day. >.< <--I've realized that I've been overusing these emoticons. I need to kick the habit.
Been pretty lazy at keeping up w/ everything. I've been around with some of my lovers for the past few days, and gotten yelled by mis padres for it. Fun stuff. Literally and sarcastically.

Sheer spectacularly done. Go to Avantfaire for my post on it. Too lazy to repeat words. XD

Uurgh. I'm trying to post my music, but the idiot that I am does not know how to make playlists. Can anyone recommend any websites that are easy-to-use, allows you to upload music directly from the computer, and offers a embed to post on blogger?

Oh, how much I long for snow instead of dreary, gloomy rain. Oh Vancouver, won't you come to me....

Time to pile on the layers.

First 2 photos are little jewerly that I made. A few days after that crappy photo was taken, I made 3 more rings. A cross, a silver leaf, and a gold spider. When it comes to jewelry, I'm not that obssessed. Sometimes it's practicality and my obvious clumsiness. I don't know, maybe it's my fear of dropping these metal things down the toilet. Losing them a week after buying them is inevitable. Also, I never find any that I like. And the ones I do like cost major bucks.
All my weaknesses clumped together has propelled me to make my own little "trinkets". Cue the super glue on skin, floor, carpet, etc. and some major pain along the way. Nevertheless, I am much more proud of crap I make myself. I would've boasted my 3 little new babies but until I get a camera, I can't. With my ancient piece of machinery, all photos that come out are blurry and incomprehensible.

The last few photos are outdated from Knott's for my 17th birthday. I was in debate to actually show photos of my crazy friends who made that day happen, but then again their privacy is also very important to me. Instead, here's a vision of a ride that I didn't have the balls to go on, roosters and hens that surprised us at the end of the days (and can amazingly climb trees), my face that summed up what I felt about the whole day, and a perfectly-screwed-up photobooth picture (I was devirginized of never being in a photobooth. They say that your first experience sucks, but I didn't think it could've been better. Especially loving the last photo of me supposedly giving my friend a hickey, who by the way was 1 of the FOUR girls that was in the booth. Hilariously, her face was the only one that came out and the only person that you can see in all 4 slides.)

P.S. I'm promising to put up some actual outfit posts soon. Just did my SAT Subject tests this morning so I'm finally semi-free.

Turned 17 today. Will post more of my hectic, hilarious, nauseous day next time. Now, I just need to catch up on homework and get some sleep. Enjoying this weather. During my little Knott's Berry Farm rumble, the sun was shining down on us and all was well. Right now it's raining hail. Just like I like it. :) The day ended perfectly.

This post is very anticlimatic, but I just adore Freja's tattoos, especially that gun one. I don't know if the last pic is of Freja but that just made my jaw drop when I saw it in the beauty section of some runway of Style.com. Amazing. I quite love tattoos. Not full on body work... but rather simple, witty, coy tattoos on some parts of body. Definitely sexy on back of neck, forearms, wrist, back. I've been planning my tattoo for years, but I've always been too pu$$y to try it. Plus, my parents would probably disown me. Maybe next year when I'm actually legal.

Purple Plush Tee (Talbots Kids), Purple Jeans (Wetseal), Combat Boots (Mudd), White Wool Jacket (made by mom), Gold Necklace (DIY), Silver Belt (sis'), Black Bag (Nine West)

A week ago, I recieved a facebook event invite about October 20th, where we wear purple to support and remember the LGBT community who have been bullied, abused, depressed, or suicidal. As a huge believer of equality for these wonderful people, I initally clicked "Yes, I will attend".

Then on October 19th, someone changed my mind. I decided I will not wear purple for the LGBTs.

This facebook status update is what caused this radical decision:

“I’m not wearing purple today b/c I'm gay & I’m showing support to
those who were bullied & committed suicide for being gay.I’m wearing
purple to show support to EVERYONE who has been bullied & committed
suicide b/c they were “too” fat, skinny, wear
glasses, braces, race, gender, religion, etc. things they can’t help in life. Why should 1 group to have spotlight on them & others go unrecognized & left unknown. We are only human."--Anonymous friend.

Now this was updated by a "just recently out-of-the-closet" homosexual friend. He used to be so self-conscious about his sexaulity and the perceptives of what others thought of him, he was a bit emotionally unstable. I, being not quite emotionally stable myself (not exactly for the same reasons as his), knew about how immediatlely destructive you can become when you lie to yourself.

Everyone has different issues. I can assure you that all the other person want is to be listened to. Honest to god, I am very UNsympathetic. (Trust me, I was pretty harsh with my friend when he started getting irrational.) However, ALWAYS be compasssionate.

I still have my own issues to sort out and turmoils that can send me pulling my hair out at seemingly random times. Nevertheless, like what my friend said,"We are only human."
