Since school started... yeah, you know. For some reason, I always procrastinate on the fun stuff. I always like to put them off, so when the great days do come, they're be RADICAL. Maybe I'm just setting myself up for disappointment.

Anyways, these spectacular animals are from the San Diego Zoo. Sadly, we didn't visit the giraffe, but the rest of them were wonderful. I say animals are so much more interesting than people, and so much fun to photograph.

Once-a-year Days.

Floral Vest (vintage), White Top (Target), Black Silk Skirt (handmedown), Combat Boots
Did you know that September 05, 2009 Los Angeles was born? I had no idea. And I've been living 1 1/2 hours away from there for nearly half of my life.
In 2 days, I start school; I wanted to blow off some procrastination-steam so my family and I decided to go too Chinatown.

To be honest, we've spent just around 10 minutes in the actual town. For the rest of the 7 hours and 50 minutes, were spent on visting Chinese museums, huge planeterium, and watching these Spanish live performances. (Of course, we didn't quite understand a word they said. Hilariously, there were tons of Asian tourists there.) Quote from Asian dad: Learning something new everyday is truly the gratifying experiance. Oh boy. I just wanted to go shopping.
On another note, today's my parent's anniversary. September 6th. Funny thing, my mom never remembers this date, whereas my dad always does.
P.S. Did any of you guys know that there is a Mexicoland in San Diego? I thought that was just California. But of course, I would also have to say that for Chinatown.

I will be your Queen and you will be my King.

Black MJ Tee, Black Skirt (Kohls), Black Socks (cut from tights), Yellow Heels (Mudd)

We found the most awesomest playground ever. It was built as a castle with little dungeons and hiding places. (no clue what the huge sausage thing is for though) We played around with it for awhile.
P.S. I got a new MJ "Off the Wall" tee! They had a red moonwalking tee (with sparkley socks), I loved the idea, but the idea was a bit too... bright for me.

You've got your red, flowered teeny weeny one piece.

My little sister is quite a diva, all ready and posed for the photo ops.

Anyhoo... I am so jealous of my sister's clothes. (She also gets the BEST hand-me-downs... you think there's nothing to be jealous of there, but ho, there is). She also has the most adorable little bathing suit. It's red with little sunflowers on it. Absolute adorableness.

Money Changes People

Could you spot my little sis?

Went to a swap meet today. There was this stand that held the most beautiful vintage clothing. At first, the owner was kinda "bitchy" but once I came with my mom (who had a wallet in her hands), she suddenly... transformed. Laughed silently to myself.

Monkey See, Monkey Do, Monkey wants to be just like you.

Blue/Green Indian Tee (vintage), Blue Jean Skirt (made by mom), White Sneakers (Cherokee)
My mom's handiwork is amazing. I found these old 90's jeans that don't fit me anymore (and when I say 90's I mean those smal-waisted, straight-legged, deathly unflattering, acid-washed 90's jeans). I had the idea of cutting and making them into a skirt. So my mom made a two-toned jeans skirt out of two pairs of jeans. Utter Fabulousness.
P.S. I'm going shoe-shopping today. Mother thinks these white zip-up sneakers are too dirty and worndown (you should see the heels...)... today may be my last day with these white ol' goodies... *tear*.
P.P.S. The monkey was my pet for the day. I don't think I can get more random than this.

A date with Peter Rabbit

Black Blazer (A-List), Mickey Mouse "What's So Good About Mornings" Tee (Disney vintage), Black Tights, Brown Combat Boots (Mudd)
Took my little sister to Grand Park for Egg Hunting...
we waited for an hour to get my sister's face painted like a kittycat.
